Hey, it's me
I'm Back. ❤️
It's been a little while, hasn't it?
Over the past few years, I've been dealing with some health issues that forced me to slow down. If you've followed me for a while, you know that's not something I do easily. Creating content, researching cases, recording the podcast, talking with all of you, that's such a huge part of who I am. Stepping away wasn't something I wanted to do, but it was something I needed.
The good news?
I'm back.
And I don't think I've ever been more excited to say those words because Season 5 of When Killers Get Caught launches this week.
This season feels incredibly special to me. Instead of focusing solely on the offenders, we're shifting our attention to the people who refused to let evil define them. Season 5, Case Closers: The Survivors, is about resilience, courage, and the extraordinary strength of people who lived to tell their stories. I honestly can't wait for you to hear it.
I also want to say hello to everyone who's found me recently.
To all of the new faces who discovered my content on Facebook, welcome! The community has grown faster than I ever imagined, and I'm so grateful you're here. I hope you'll stick around because we're just getting started.
To my original TikTok family... thank you.
Some of you have been here for years. You've watched this little passion project grow from short videos into a podcast, a business, and a community. Even while I was on hiatus, so many of you kept checking in, asking when I'd be back, and reminding me that you hadn't gone anywhere.
And to my podcast listeners... you honestly made me emotional.
For a while, I honestly thought my fifteen minutes were up.
I'd convinced myself that maybe I was just another washed-up influencer whose moment had come and gone. I had made peace with the idea that this chapter of my life might be over.
Then, in December 2025 while I was laid up in bed with a cast from foot to knee, Spotify sent me my Wrapped.
It showed me that hundreds of you were still listening every single week. Not to new episodes (I wasn't making any) but to the old ones. Week after week, you kept finding the show, recommending it, and spending your time with stories I'd already told.
That changed everything. I promised myself I'd come back.
From January through June, I committed to releasing a new episode every week. It wasn't the carefully planned, fully themed season that Season 5 is. In many ways, I was just trying to find my footing again while navigating one of the hardest periods of my life.
But every download, every review, every message asking when the next episode was coming reminded me that I wasn't creating into a void. There were people out there waiting. There were people who cared.
And on the days when my health made everything feel impossible, knowing you were waiting made the work feel lighter. It gave me a reason to keep researching, keep recording, and keep showing up.
All of the messages saying, "We're waiting," or "I'm checking every Thursday," reminded me that this show means something to people. Knowing there were listeners sitting patiently, waiting for new episodes, gave me the motivation to keep working toward getting healthy enough to return.
You didn't just listen to the podcast, you helped bring it back.
Thank you for giving me the grace to heal.
Thank you for staying.
Thank you for finding me.
Whether you've been here since the beginning or you just stumbled across one of my videos yesterday, I'm so glad you're here for this next chapter.
Here's to new stories, unforgettable survivors, and an incredible Season 5.
Let's get back to work.
